WVU Medicine tops list of WV’s largest employers

West Virginia labor officials say the state’s 100 largest private employers are led by WVU Medicine, this year replacing Wal-Mart, which slipped to second place
Wal-Mart had held the top spot from 1998 through 2015
Now seventy percent of the largest employers in the state are in healthcare
The top 10 WV employers are

4/ Kroger
5/ Mylan Pharmaceuticals
6/ Lowe’s Home Centers
7/ St Mary’s Medical Center
